Homesite,
My recommendations are that you post a new thread asking who owns a boat the same size as yours, and has a trailer that they are not using. Some people buy boats without trailers, and some buy boats with trailers that they do not use. You may be able to find someone in the area that uses there trailer, and they can use your lift while you are gone, and you use the trailer. Kinda like a swap.
I am not sure if the Escalade will make the commute or not, but I am sure you need room for luggage, ect... You may want to look at renting a truck that fits your personal requirements as well as you towing needs.
Also if you do get to borrow a trailer from someone, make sure you have a infrared thermometer (too check temp on hubs), as well as a spare tire, and bearing/hub kit. If someone lets you borrow there trailer, atleast compensate them for the tires/use of the trailer.
You may want to contact Reggie ( I think that is his name ) at Fountain, and see if he has an extra trailer to spare. I am sure they would be happy to help you, especially since you purchased the boat from them.
Good luck, and if you come through NC, especially Goldsboro/Smithfield let me know and we can meet up for dinner (my treat). I would really love to see that boat.
David
