Smile Stabilized Binoculars

Few years ago I had some FUJINON 14x40 Techno-Stabi Image-Stabilizing Binoculars.
I really liked and made the mistake of letting them go when I sold my boat.

I am currently looking at purchasing another set of Stabilized Binoculars.

Any thoughts on different brands etc?

Thanks

The Fujinon 14 x 40 are still the best. I had a chance to compare all of the various brands of stabalized binocs at a store, and ended up with the Fujinons. Also the battery use was far less than I had anticipated.

Agree with thataway. I have had mine for a little over a year and love them. Don't do the Canons they have had bad press.

I have the Nikkon version Stabileyes 14x40 VR. They are made by Fujinon and are the same as the Techno's. I got them from Opticsplanet on ebay. They were listed at $850 for factory refurbs with a best offer option. I offered $750 and it was instantly approved leaving me to believe I could have got them for less. If they dont have them listed on the bay, you might give them a call. They were factory packed and looked like new with a warranty. I couldnt be happier. They are nothing short of amazing!

If you can afford the price, Fraser Volpes are the best.

I have had a pair of Canon 18x50 stabilized for about 5 years or so, even dropped them once from 3 feet on a hardwood floor - never had a problem. I love them.
