Default New Yam 300...Will it autopilot at troll ?

This seems to be the way to go on a repower of an older two stroke boat because of weight , but with computer controls, can it autopilot ? Particularly at troll for those who sometimes fish alone. Troll rpm option seems killer for salmon.
If so,I will probably buy one.
Maybe you Verado guys know. The newer electronic "magic" links I know nothing about.
A Contender 21 to 23T single with this is in my dreams.

I dont quite understand your question. But, if it happens to be something to do with engines that have fly by wire throttles and such installed(Suzuki 300, New Yami's, Verado's, etc..) then yes they work on AP..

The new engine is no different than current engines in this regards to AP. APs do not control throttle, and its the throttle that is different.

By the way, any engine made in past 30 years + hydraulic steering + plus any good AP will give the troll alone feature you want.

Sorry, I thought the new Yams also had power(by wire and computer) steering . If not a standard autopilot would work.
