I have been using Meguires Flagship Premium Marine Paste Wax on my new boat. Used it for a few years on my Pursuit and it kept the Gelcoat like new. It also kept my Radome looking brand new as the ones on the boats around mine started to fade/chalk (yes - don't forget to care for the antennas!)

At the start of the season I always used Meguires Marine Cleaner Wax with my Porter Cable, followed by a coat of the Flagship Marine Wax by hand. I wonder if I should give Collinite Fleetwax a try??

I tried the fleet and a ton of others, having made the mistake of my frist boat being red, which was a constant battle fighting oxidation. I used every product out there, wax, polish, cleaners, heavy cleaners, cleaners then wax, you name it and I bought it, except rejex. Rejex must be fairly new as I have not tried that one.

I saw a local detailer's crew working on a fleet of boats at the marina and they were using Gary's. I tried it on my present boat and have been using it exclusively ever since. It is the best I have used. Very mild cleaner wax and beads water longer than the fleet and other waxes I have used. Easy to apply and buff out with the machine.

Going to try this stuff next.
That is the wrong liquid and you will be disappointed. Use the Boat wax 925, or insulator wax 845, NOT CLEANER WAX it will not last. Collinite rules IMO.

Everyone using Fleetwax, it is a cleaner wax and not as good as the true wax mentioned above. I've use the 845 for years on several boats would not go anyother way.

This is from haulout two weeks ago.

This is from when I bought the boat in April. Wetsanded 1200, 3M superyduty compound, 3M Finesse-it, collonite 845. After being a detailer for years this is the tried and true method regardless of Boat, car, motorcycle, etc.

On the Collinite website, the 845 is not listed under Marine applications but in the Automotive section. The 925 wax is listed under Marine applications. Looks like it works though!
