I currently have a 23660 CC Sailfish with a single 225 Yamaha. My current comfort range is 15miles with 3-foot seas. I would like to fish up to 40miles with 3-4 foot seas. I'm considering a 2660 Sailfish, 24 foot Cape Horn, or a 26 cc Southport all with twin Yahamas 200 to250 range. Any advise as to which way I should go? Do I need to consider 28 foot boats?

All 3 are good sea boats....if you are questioning going bigger and can do it definitely go bigger. Real 4' is not a fun day in my 31'.....fishable yes, good day to be out marginable. Real 4' seas are gonna be a swing of 4' above and 4' below flat seas and that is pretty big for comfortable fishing depending on the period.
