Default 27 contender cutty

just bought a 05 27cutty and i am looking for some advice on installing a lewmar pro fish windlass. It seems there is not enough room between the windlass and the bow and will need some kind of custom pulpit has anyone delt with this problem on a contender ?

i know i need a bow roller this is what was on the boat before i got it,it was custom made.Im useing the same windlass will the bow roller be long enough between the anchor and the windlass without something like this? Someone must have had this problem

Need better pics- that is a funky looking install though... you removed it??

They come in various lengths, depending on how much room you need and the length/type of anchor.

A Danforth style anchor needs a pivoting roller (from the link provided above) as this type anchor will not "self-launch" with a windlass.

If you use a Delta type anchor, you can use a non-pivoting type, as these type anchors are self-launching.
