One thing for sure, it's a little light in the loafers......5300 pounds dry weight for a 32' FB? That ought to be interesting in fours...

I've seen and own their work (29' and 32' Mirage) and the progress on this new layout looks great. It's built from their traditional 32 CC sportfish hull but w/ more bow flare. Twin Volvo IPS drives.

Mirage builds some nice CC's ... I am curious to see how the 32 Flybridge comes out.

Default Wow that thing is light

5300# dry with no power so whats its going to be about 10000# when rigged? My 35 Carolina Classic is 30000#. That's going to be one rough riding boat. Probably good fuel burn but is going to beat the crap out of you.

I looked up the weight of the IPS drives, 1720 per side. So if you add that up with rigging, tower, fuel, water, live well, interior work, wiring, and accessories. It's going to be much higher. I question the 2mpg on the website with that wide of beam and dead rise. Besides the 35 Cabo Fly bridge is at 20,000lb per the website. I don't know anybody that has complained about that boats ride?????

It is either going to be fuel efficient or ride well, not both.

My 35' Bertram weighs around 21,000 lbs.

I don't see how a three foot shorter boat can weigh half what my boat weighs and still ride decent.

I am guessing that they must have gotten the weight wrong.

Maybe the IPS accounts for the great fuel burn.

I like the lines, but the proportions look like a bigger boat to me.

I wonder what the price point will be?

This company gave up on the Sportfish end years back to only build Trawlers right when i was looking at the 32 CC, first they told me they would only sell a 32 with a single D6 volvo, then they stopped production completely!
On there website they have been saying for a while now about a new 32CC, and now they come up with this?
It appears that Mirage does not know what they want to build.

Why buy a new 31 when you can buy great used boats like SeaNile.

5300# must be bare hull. Nothing in it.

My sig Albin 32 is 18,000# loaded & it is only a SINGLE.

You can't have exceptional lightweight & great ride too. You can't have good ride with weight & have great fuel burn too.

A boat is a collection of compromises floating on the water.

5300 pounds was probably the weight of the barrrels of resin they started with.

Its a cored hull, the design is the same bottom as the older 29 & 32 CC, a friend of mine has a 29 with twin 200 volvos and it weighs around 5000 lbs, and the boat is excellent in rough water for its size.

22 degree transom deadrise and a 56degree entry should mitigate some of the ride concerns. When it's all said and done, 10-12,000 lbs would be a guess, putting it right in there with the current batch of performance oriented boats with similar configurations. From the pictures on the web site it looks like they modified an old 32'. I don't recall their old 32' as being considered a really bad ride.

You might have missed what Jay was saying " it is a Jannace designed hull", what ever the weight is, that bottom will take good care of you.

Again he meant Charles Jannace, tell me about a blackfin that beats you up.
