Here's maybe an apples and apple sauce comparison but maybe it'll help ya a little - last year at this time we paid $16k for our 07 Century 1850 dc, also w/ Yami 115, 50 hours, no electronics, excellent condition, from a dealer. Good luck.

Oh, and it's been a good boat. We're very happy with it.

Hmmm, not sure. Ours can be be tough, bangs pretty good. I am not sure the hulls are the same tho. I co-own the Century with another guy and I'm now looking for my own. Will be used exclusively on similar water as you describe and I'm looking for May-Craft or similar.

I would definitely sea trial it under similar conditions if at all possible.

I'll sell you my 2003 Century 18, with 115 Yahama--215 hours--for $8500. No trailer, but can be arranged.

As far as chop--if it is really 2 feet--I think that you will not be happy with the Century. It is only a moderate V. I went to an 18 foot Cat, and have a much better ride.

The boats are well built and paired well with the power plant. I get over 5 miles per gallon at 22 knots, and top out at 40 mph, under ideal conditions.
