The first I heard about your boat was Thursday morning when richard asked me to run an id number. He was given that info and contacted you this morning. He was out of the office Friday. I went back thru my emails, and do not have one from you or I would have responded myself.

Your boat was built in August of 08, yes it is an 09 model year and i apologize if anyone gave you false information. We should have asked for an id number to confirm. We did convert to all aluminum tanks for the 09 model year with the exception of a few boats which your 34 was one of them. We had not redesigned the 34 for aluminum at the time of construction. The tanks in your boat are gen 3 tanks and were built 100 percent out of resin designed solely for ethanol fuel for in ground fuel tanks. Based on what we have seen in the field, You will have a lifetime of use out of your boat.

This issue has been beat to death, There are simple fixes for our tanks tat are really not that big of an issue, more of an inconvenience. We will always have people who want to jump on the bandwagon with their negative opinions and we will always have YF owners defending the brand that they are so compassionate about owning.

If you would like, we can discuss a trade of your current 34 on a new boat.

Thanks for the reply,I feel a lot better knowing this boat does not have the epoxy coating in the thanks,That was my main concern,You are like me, I deal with lots of people in my business every day and it is hard to rember every thing and every customer you spoke with .And I never got the chance to thank you for all of the help weeks back when we spoke on trying to find all of the paper work on the boat 31 YF I purchased from Danny massa so the new owner could get the boal documented and thank again STEVE

Nobody wants to have to cuttheir deck up on their new 2009 boat..never mind trying to sell the boat down the road after this has done...no matter how much of a deal you got on the boat.

Wow, not fun. I imagine that would motivate me to get a Baron also. I'm curious as to the details, what happened and where were you? I frequently make runs between Atlanta and the islands. Need to make sure my raft is good to go...

You are lots better off with glass tanks made of the right stuff than alum anyday.. Lots of Bertrams from 82 on running just fine with E10 in their tanks.
