Default Prolite 22- details please

I was looking this over this evening, and its performance with the 175 Suzuki at 4500 rpms caught my eye, one because its great economy, two because it was a heavier test weight that the package tested with the 150 suzy that didn't test near as well, and of course the basic package price seemed darn good too.

Its a no frills skiff with plenty of cockpit depth and a 19 dgree deadrise that might work well for the baja.

Has anyone ridden in one?

I am hoping that Mike Carrigan might also comment on these questions.

Where is the livewell?
Talks about console storage, but doesnt show much in the pic's- any more photos? Is the batteries in there?
Is the cooler seat the fish box- what size cooler?
Can you get rails for rod holders as an option?
What would an out the door ball park price be for the hull, TTop, 175 Suzy, and trailer, tax and license at your factory if someone came to pick the boat up there from out of state?

Thanks!

Don't worry, BS, Mike will chime in. The hull is that of the old 22 Sport, the baitwell is in the port aft corner, the single batt lives in the console, but there is a good amount of room left over for storage.

I'm sure if you talk to Mike or Lanny at the plant, you could get one built your way, and get a pretty good deal on it too.

The 20CC and the 22CC are the same hulls we built as PRO-LINE for many years. When we add'd the pulpit to them they became a 21' and a 23'.
For years the highest registered hulls in the state of Florida in the size catagories. So, very proven and time tested hulls.
Live well is located in the port corner at the stern.
The battery is located on the other side, but could also be located in the console.
There's a door in front of the console for access.
To demonstate how stupid I feel at this moment, I dont know the capacity of the cooler seat. I just walked out to one and it's not stated on the seat anywhere.
They usually sell with one of two leaning post options we have that provide for rod holders. Yes, rod holders can be mounted on a rail type of installation when having the cooler seat.
It's against the rules with THT for me to post pricing.
I'm pretty careful as to that.
I can do it PM or mcarrigan@prolinemail.net
Finding a non current is my best way to satisfy you. Very regretably we've been burdened by some hefty outboard motor price increases. Timing really stinks as to that. We go from a 150 to a 200 on our price list. Please give me just a while longer to PM you a figure. As we speak we're updating our web page and pricing to adjust to the increase we've been hammered with. I will figure you a price, but I think Monday, Ok?
We try not to deliver from the plant. I'll do the arithmitic and pay a dealer to give you a sea trial and to be sure your 100% satisfied. I do that all the time.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST!

I have a 2000 20 sport and love the boat to death. I take it in 4 foot seas all the time and the boat rides so dry...unless the wind is killer then you'll get wet but thats with any boat.

The ride is smooth and never beats up my kidneys. The hull is now 9 years old and looks great with no cracks. We just started repalcing original equipment such as baitwell pumps, washdown, bilges, etc as they fail. T-top is from proline and the material just ripped last year. Boat is saltwater use only so I'm surprised as to how long things lasted.

The only issue I do have is inside the boat I am developing a soft spot on the floor. It feels bouncy when you walk on it. Its roughly a 12 inch area. It almost feels like the fiberglass is delaminating.

If you do buy it, I'm sure you'll get a lot of good years out of it.

I wont confuse him as much either.

Sorry Mike, didn't mean to lump you in with Lanny! My bad!

Wind it at a steady 15 right now, although a beautiful afternoon...but not for boating!
