The real question would be, are they all made the same just painted a different color, or do they put different parts inside for their own brand, NAPA, Fram, etc.

The Wix air filter I bought looks better than the one it's replacing. Oil and fuel filters would be hard to tell without cutting them open. I'll leave that for someone else to do.

Each brand has their own specfications of filter material, check valve, Etc. Then again, some just use the Wix specifications and change the paint and graphics. Like white glue, once when I worked for NAPA, picked up a bottle of white glue, .79 cents, the lable came off and it was Peanuts white glue with the graphics printed in the plastic, .29cents. Happens all the time on a lot of stuff.

Haven't googled Wix, But I think they had a plant in NC or SC at one time. Also, I think they made industrial type tiny micron hydraulic filters for Parker?

Might be wrong!

Always been into into diesel filters in a big way as I recall.

Bought an industrial filter system frrom Parker-Hanifin some ten years ago, and based on oil analysis and particle counting results, I was very under impreessed if not disappointed.

Again, not sure if Wix supplied the filters to Parker.
