Very nice looking boat. Will there be any warmer days in VA that you can get out on the river? I'd hate to have that boat in the driveway and need to wait 5 months!

Thanks for the complements. It may find its way to Florida from time to time.

I will be out this winter looking for stripers, but really look forward to lounging in the shallows..warm sun and cold beer.

You should have some nice days coming until at least mid Jan, just have to watch the cold fronts. Several years in a row I managed New Years Eve on the Potomac in 70 degree weather trying for one more striper.

It's a very good boat.
Very good manufacturer, great people.
I have shared some dealerships with them.
You made a very good choice.

As we speak, I'm in Stuart heading for Melborne tomorrow.
You bet, the Space Coast is a great boating area.

Nice boat.

I assume it's a tunnel hull with the 20" shaft outboard.

Its a standard hull with the hydro jack plate. 225hp..just finished the first 2 hours of break in..woo hoo!!

I fish mostly on Lake Anna, but with this purchase we (myself and the admiral) plan on expanding our travels to the Bay and Potomac. We wanted something that would work inland and inshore. We looked at the ZX2250 as well, but it seemed a bit too large for our needs. Its hard to tell from pictures, but when you get the 22bay and the 2250 side by side there is a big difference.

I grew up in Cocoa Beach..skimming the flats in the Banana River and going out Port Canaveral to Pelican Flats and the "Lumps". Back then it was a jon boat and my Dad's Wellcraft 24.
