In the console on my albe there is douglas fir plywood on the facets that face the driver, not in the sides. The step up where I installed the middle 6x9s was solid glass, and the forward most bulkhead had fir in it. Are the hulls also glassed in fir? I have to isntall ducers soon but haven't drilled through the hull itself yet

The hull bottom should be solid glass. You probably want to call Albemarle for their recomended placement. Regulator consoles seem to be wood cored everywhere, I thought Albemarles were the same way but maybe not.

That is priceless.........I too have owned a few Gradys in the past and some are simply too wide for their length, I always felt that Grady's best riding boats were the smaller 20/22 models with the 8' beam, and they've been building them for years. Those particular models are very good, beyond that I'd look elsewhere........

No offense to any Grady owners out there, just my humble opinion....
