Default NC Boat ramps

I will be taking my new boat down to Emerald Isle this weekend. I am looking for a decent boat ramp in or around EI. I would like to have a few options (other than Island Harbor and Dudley's)

Thanks

Default RE: NC Boat ramps

I hate to tell you there are not many options in that area. The Dudley's ramp is actually closed as they are doing some work there. There is a public ramp just down from Dudley's but it is a bad ramp, hard to get into, lots of current and wake and always packed. As you go up 24 towards Morehead there are a couple of privately owned ramps that you can launch for a fee. One is back up in Salty Shores ($3) and one is at the little marina at Broad Creek ($10).
