Default Triple Axle Trailer-What is it worth?

I bought a used boat that came with a trailer but I'm keeping the boat in a slip and I'm considering selling the trailer. There was a Parker 2510 sitting on it. What do you think it's worth?

These guys sell the VBT-9200. Ask them what it is new.

I've got the 2002 dual axle under my 26, about $3500 new. Was recently checking out a triple like it (I almost could use a triple).. trailer appeared identical, just had an extra axle..

Ballpark $3500. It's probably a $4500-$5000 trailer, but it's not new anymore.

Better to keep it though. Down the road there's a good chance you'll want it. Shopping for boats I passed on one purely because for the $$ he was asking, and the cost of the trailer, it made the boat an impractical decision. Same guy sold his trailer for penuts because "it was just taking up space in my yard".. now he's paying for marina dry-storage. Put his asking price into a different range that I wasn't willing to spend.

Plus, consider the cost and freedom of being able to haul yourself. If the boat can be stored on a trailer, it's best to at least own one - especially nice if you get in a jam and want to haul it/launch it at your leisure (through-hull failure etc..). 25 ft. Parkers aren't that big or that heavy with a reasonable towing vehicle, many are towed by their owners and stored on the trailer during the off-season. JMO,

Jon
