2004 Wellcraft 22 Walkaround O/B

Hello.

I am looking at a new boat. Namely the 2004 Wellcraft 22 Walkaround O/B.

Does anyone have 1 of these they can comment on? Anything I should be aware of?

I've also talked to a couple of dealers, and pricing seems all over the place. Can anyone help me with a best price scenario for the following set up?

Yamaha 200 HPDI
Dual Battery Switch
Sealand Head with VacuFlush
SIRIUS Satellite Radio AM/FM/CD
Trim Tabs
Weekender Package
Factory Hardtop Package w/ enclosure, wiper

I was thinking around $39,000-40,000.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

My rig is very similar and probably made in the same factory as the Wellcraft. I think if you could pick the Wellcraft up OUT THE DOOR for 40k you would be getting a great deal. Do you need a trailer? If you do, I think an out the door price of anything under 45k with a trailer is excellent. Without the 200 hpdi and hard top you could save thousands, but the rig wouldn't be nearly as nice configured that way. Good luck.

I picked up my Aquasport with trailer for an out the door price of 36k...back in 2002.

You will love the ride. I sold one to a friend a few years ago with a 225 opti. It ran 53 MPH! Call Wellcraft directly and you can arrange a tour of the factory if you are near Sarasota.

JUST BOUGHT A 2003 AQUASPORT 215 EXPLORER W/ 175 JOHNSON. IT IS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO YOUR WELLCRAFT. SO FAR THE BOAT IS PHENOMINAL. I AM HAPPY WITH BOTH THE RIDE AND PERFORMANCE. THE FAMILY DIGS IT TOO.

I ALSO LOOKED AT THE WELLCRAFT 22 WALKAROUND. I BOUGHT THE AQUASPORT WITH A TRAILER FOR LESS THAN THE WELLCRAFT. 28000 VS. 32000 FOR THE WELLCRAFT. THEY WERE BOTH BRAND NEW BOATS. ALTHOUGH THE AQUASPORT IS A LEFTOVER 2003.
