2003 225 optimax check engine no horn no faults.

hey guys i have a 03 225 optimax and i am getting a check engine light after 5 seconds of turning it on. no horn just a check engine. i hooked it up to the edt and it has no codes. the engine runs fine its just annoying seeing the check engine flashing. anyone see this before or ideas on what to check? thanks for your help.
