This is going to be mounted out of sight and under the very front of the forward seating/casting deck. These things perform much better than any of the windlasses I have ever used.

Reason: typo
to put 500' of base line, then 100-150 (don't know how it is going to fit yet) of 9/16 rope for stretch and quick disconnect, followed by chain and anchor. The anchor is something new too, can't wait to snap a pick of it and the bow pulpit it fits into.
I fish on a boat with one of those mounted on he bow. It isnt pretty but neither is the boat (commercial CC fish boat). It works great. The line finds it way on without a levelwind but does end up with a little more in the center. His looks much bigger than that one.

I have just a little wheel on my bow that I wrap the rope around that was my anchor still stores in the locker out of sight. You can see it in this pic.
There was discussion some time back as to the "market' that builders (incl YF) are tageting with these monster CC's. Big dayboat, few amenities for the "other half".
Mind telling us what your intended use is for the boat, and why you selected it over more "traditional" express designs of that size?

Not at all, my wife and kids probably come out about 5% of the time I am on the boat. I wish it were more believe it or not.
I have an EC now, that cruises at about 23 kts. I have it rigged for fishing, and it does a good job and has all the amenities. The beam is a bit over 14 foot, and it fishes me and three buddies perfectly.
Problem, I live in Ft. Myers, and it takes me 1 hour to get to Redfish Pass, and from there I am adding additional time to get to the spots I like to fish, anywhere from 30-60 miles offshore. So on a short run to my spots I am looking at 2 1/2 hours before I drop a line. I have 350 gallons of diesel onboard, and would not even think about running to the Tortugas or other distant spots in the current boat.
The 42 has a 12' beam, so I am only "giving up" 2 foot versus 4 foot in a 36 class boat. I can now cruise at 44 knts and get right about .9 mpg. The boat holds 600 gals of fuel, and gives me a LOT more confidence in making longer runs, and opens up areas that I would not even consider going to now. The smaller cabin still allows me to overntight under cover, though not as comfortably as now. The time aspect is the main draw for me. Being able to dramatically reduce my travel time makes it to where I can use the boat more frequently for the daytrips I want to make. So, it is the time machine aspect that is most appealing to me. The ride is really remarkable, opening up rougher days than I would typically go out on.
So vastly increased range (daytrip range), more space for more buddies to fish, shorter transit times, those types of things.

I've seen there product on line, and on about every charter boat around these areas. Its on my wish list, I want an anchor through the stem and this would eliminate the drop distance worries and give trouble free operation.
I take the base is just painted white, or is it another material besides SS?
How about the motor and gear is that model SS too?
She's lookng good

The EZ anchor puller is used on every charter boat around you are correct sir. It is actually a WARN winch motor and gear box with a SS spindle mounted in Starboard base. They put zirc fittings through the plastic and let the spindle run in that. For the one you showed me you might wind up with 3/8 braid to get enough on. Thats OK just use a 20' poly top shot.

Yep, the bottom one for me too. When I lived KW we used to call Sloppy Joes the "Green Street Office" Other classics are branch office and field office. "ameeting" is also a classic.

The designer said that the red would not pop like it does on a pc monitor. I am 90% sure that is the graphic. Getting excited again!
You boat is..... WOW....
Im a Graphic Designer (14 years and counting) and while the lettering looks nice, I think a boat of that magnitude deserves its own character and style, not a standard off the shelf font...
