Might be a dumb question, but I'm gonna ask anyway.... What are the metal boxes on the side of the ice chests?
Not at all, those are freezer plates that make your ice last for a very long time, iced up once in 6 days, and stayed full. This summer will be the test, July and August are smokers in SW FL.
I didn't get the boat until November, and I have not had the opportunity to over night or shower on her yet, so I can't address the hot water question. The genny would have to be running to power the hot water heater. The fishbox chillers do not require AC, and I have run them for 18+ hours without noticing the system being taxed. They are Vitrifrigo's, and I didn't see the info for these on the site, but perhaps some of their other products would give you an idea.
I am glad some of you were able to get by the show and view her first hand. Feel free to hit me with any questions you might have, I enjoy the conversation.

Detour....still waiting on that write up for the Merc monitor. Im thinking of getting one and your input is appreciated.
Sorry for the late reply. I am getting a few odds and ends done on the boat, it will be back around the beginning of March. I need to make a few adjustments that Glen sent to me, and then I will post it up.
This is my first post on this site. I just spent 2 hours reading about this great boat. We might be moving down on the water in southwest Fl. I think its settled we will be getting a 36 yellowfin. I might have a hard time talking her into a 42.

Welcome down, it is a nice easy place to live. The 36 fishes great over here. I should have the boat back mid week with a few revisions that I'll be glad to write updates on as soon as the weather cooperates.
