I believe the thing that looks like a pot puller is an electric reel on a bent butt, without the rod part. Look towards the bow u can see two other reels on bent butts.
Love the boat "shack" with the ice machine! Did i miss the BBQ station and bar on the dock?
Curious, down in SFL, can you run a sea ice maker or is the water just too warm and thus difficult to make sea ice? Sea ice would be the absolute shizzle for keeping the catch in pristine condition (and it keeps the beer dam cold!)
On my humble boat shack (on land) for my trailered boat, i installed "tennis" wind screen material between the uprights to shield the boat from sun, wind and rain. It allows about 20% light thru so i don't need xtra lighting and has worked very well so far in doing its job.
i read this whole thread in one night ...it was like a novel i coulnt put down...detour,awesome boat...best of luck with it ..looking forward to more pics,,,,
that is an awesome setup....what's the output of the ice machine? That is the best size ice to have.
The ice machine is a Scotsman NME654. It makes 600 lbs in 24 hours. Might be overkill in the cooler months, but should be just about right when it warms up.

I had wanted to put a saltwater icemaker in the boat. Did a good bit of research, and spoke with more than a few people who had them on their large sportfishes, and the consensus I got was that they were more problematic than beneficial. Who knows if they maintained them properly, but they are on a boat and subjected to pounding, salt air, salt water, etc. This seemed to be a "best of both worlds" type solution. Plus I can throw a cooler up there and get the best ice for chewing from a glass you can get!
