Actually it's part of the Obama stimulus plan, He is getting it paid for and a rebate check from Pelosi. He also has free fuel for two years, and there is talk of extending that plan!
Most beautiful boat I have ever seen! Enjoy you earned it and don't let anyone slow you down!!!!

Short video I took yesterday running offshore 15 miles when a front came through and blew 20 kts. We were cruising at 45 mph, it wasn't easy to hold the camera still. Even with a little side wind at 20 kts the spray was still minimum. Im gonna work on some better ones.

It looks like it is blowing hard, but very little white caps. How big were the waves, very hard to tell on the video.

Way to come through with the goods. I will post some once I ride out in them that is. The ride is substantially different from the 36, the weight really settles the boat.

Thanks again!

I thought the same thing, I am going to have a cinder block with some rebar bent around it and tied to a rope to use for actually holding the boat in place.

Nice Ride! I was offshore also on Saturday. 4' seas and a stiff 15-20knt wind.

We were running into a 4'(a couple 5's-6's) head sea and could only maintain 28-31mph. It was a very wet ride for us.

24/7...Were you Fishing the Gators KMT???

No I was not fishing Gators, I was 15 miles offshore playing with the snapper and spanish makeral. We had a 35/40 lb King eating the spanish, it was funny we kept feeding him. The seas were not really very big in the video, they were only about 3' more far apart than anything. The video makes it hard to see the depth of the waves.

24/7 thanks for the data on the waves, hard to tell, but the boat looks like it rides very well.
Confused on the post above from Team Balla. Are you saying you ran 30 mph in 4-6 foot seas? If they were rollers and spaced out I can believe that but if they are foamy and stacked I am not sure I would agree with your assessment of the sea state. Not trying to start a disagreement, but 4 foot seas are 8 feet from the bottom of the swell to the top of the next wave.

Detour, when you decided to buy the yellowfin was there a waiting list you had to go on first or did they start building your boat as soon as you put down a down payment?

Waiting list. They build these one at a time. Been about 7 months total I believe, but might be slightly off.

24/7's vid was about 15 miles offshore. My est. was of us running in true 4' sea around 50miles out.

What other boats were in your sights? Did you look at any of the other big CC's or did you just want the Yellowfin?

24/7 thise seas look plenty snotty to me. It always looks better on camer and I see plenty of white caps. Looks like a confused sea.
