I forget the specs, but it has a diesel Fisher Panda generator. There are pics of it here: http://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-...ruction-7.html about half way down the page. I am also glad to find alternative uses for the FLIR!!

Awsome, I must have missed the page with the genny. Those Pandas are great, tiny in size so you can stuff it anywhere, as I see they simply put it in the lean post.

Yeah the FLIR will spot breast implants. It works off infa red so it sees heat and I guess the implants don't reach the same temp as the rest of the body so they stand out when looking at them through IR.

Should make for great beer talk when docked up at a swanky waterfront bar.

I don't have any personal experience with it but I heard it directly from people that do on more than one occasion.

Post the results of that test.

FLIR: Forward Looking Inplant Revealer

About the pic of the beer can holders, I like how the screw heads in the pic are alinged with each other. Thats always a nice touch that I try to work in when rigging. There is a pic of a Cig cockpit in an ad on the back cover of my last Powerboat Magazine and the first thing I noticed was that the screw heads were all in different position. Its the little things that add up in the end.

You need FLIR to spot implants? That kid must be running you ragged at night

Thanks for the updates.

A great project. Dont put too much weight into what people have to say on this board...i have been reading this thread and notice a lot of yappers, who are clueless to type the least. Yellow Fin builds a quality piece!!!

Enjoy your boat and best of luck. we need more eager folks buying things in this econ. Be safe and enjoy!

Wow! Thank you for your kind words. I took my entire fishing posse up before deciding on rigging, and sought advise from people whose experience extends far beyond mine. They also knew how I like to fish, and then worked with Richard at the factory to figure out how to make everything fit.

I found it be a weird kind of self induced pressure to get the thing as perfect as I could because YF was willing to make the boat practically anyway I wanted it, and it was up to me to figure out what that might be. No one to blame but me if it wasn't exactly what I wanted.... gulp.

This is the only video I have at the moment. I want to work on some good ones running offshore in some snotty seas.

Here is a shot of the VV, there are two things I would like to see changed on the VV. A way to see individual fuel burn and a way to monitor the voltage of house batteries. My VV used to have condensation inside it for the longest time but that has finally cleared up.

I see how you are man, you get to take video in butter and want me to take it in snotty stuff.....

We just had a cold front move through, 5-8 footers. I plan on running it down from the factory, a little over 75 miles. If I had gotten the boat this weekend, that would have been quite the ride to video. Hopefully I'll have the butter you shot in!

Had a Flir M-Series installed on my boat last week.

Haven't had a chance to play w/ it yet.

Here's a link to the unit:
