Default 275 Verado Lifespan

If a 275 Verado is propped to 6,100 and run at 4,500, how many hours of service could one expect?

It would be a triple engine set up. The boat would be stored on a lift out of the water, fresh water flushed after use, serviced per Mercury specs once a year by a Verado mechanic. Approx 150 hours use a year.

I am looking at a trip CC with 500 hours and want to know what I should expect to see before having to pull a head or supercharger. 1,000 hours, 2,000 hours, or more? I am not talking impellers, water pumps, etc., but the bigger items that force you to think about re-powering.

Thanks

have seen triple engine CCs with 1200 hrs and further on 275s....but they need alot of TLC. replaced 2 powerheads in the 800 hour range, a supercharger, 3 FSMs, fuel pumps, and other normal repairs.

Just like any other 4 stroke. I have over 1000hrs and know of others that hit 2500-3000 before replacing powerheads. Did the FSM update and supercharger kits under warranty. My 05's are under warranty thru 11/10. Seem to be running better than ever
