suzuki DF15 problems.

My father just picked up a skiff with a 15 horse DF 4 stroke. I think the motor is a 1997. The motor starts and runs finr for a while, however, it appears to have symptoms similiar to a clogged low speed jet. There is a brass screw on the carb that when pulled and cleaned with a pin fixes the problem for some time.

I have changed the filter in the engine but not the racor.

Any ideas?
