Definately time for a smack talk thread. Yall will settle yalls little scuffle on October 10th.

Georgia has OK State, SC, ARK, ASU, LSU, UT and Vandy all in a row. Then they get to take a Sat off before they go to JAX. Unbelievable!!!

I don't know how they are gonna look after all that, but I have an idea, and it aint too good. In other words, I need to talk a whole lotta smack before the season even starts.

Our first baby is due 10/31/09(bad timing I know). maybe she'll be able to bring a little luck to the Dawgs that weekend. This is supposed to be the happiest day of my life, and I'm sure the Gators are just gonna ruin it. Damn Gators!!! I even tried to get Tech scheduled for that day once I found out when the baby was due. That didn't work out for me though.

College football season is my favorite time of the year. Good luck to all those SEC fans out there.

If the smack talk is limited to those members who actually graduated from the schools it would be a very short thread.

Or all the indoor/outdoor track and field championships out of Arkansas...

I love my hogs. Can't wait for football season! Hope we make some progress, as long as Ole Miss drowns in their own vomit, I'm a happy camper!

Finally, can't wait for the UA/LSU game. Never know who's gonna come out on top there...

I've always heard they're about $1K per year per foot of hull. So a 60 foot Bertram will probably cost about $60K a year.

Now, I'm not sure if that is just maintenance or if that includes, dockage, insurance, etc. etc.

In that case, why don't you just go ahead and narrow it down to those that ACTUALLY PLAYED for the school they graduated from. Oh ya, that would knock you out of the thread as well.

Lighten up francis. It's all in good fun.

Leave it to Florida to bring up basketball while the topic was clearly about a football coach and his boat. I wonder why he didn't mention baseball.Who's your daddy now.

i have always heard one can expect to spend annually 10% of the cost of the boat. that includes captain, insurance, dockege, fuel, maint, etc. Again depends on how much the owner uses the boat (fuel adds up quick) and if they employ a captain. A full time captain on a 60' could easily run 50k or more.

No, I just brought up since that was the only time in history for ANY college school to win both. In over 100 years of NCAA sports... It was truely no big deal...

I hear ya. But that's tough to go by. A 2009 60' Bertram could run $3Mil. A 1988 60' Bertram could be $300K. Maintenance should be higher on the 1988.

Either way, I have to admit my ignorance. I've only owned outboards.

I'd be curious to hear from some owners.

regardless if its his or not, I'm pretty sure he can afford it. I know I couldn't. Maybe he can let Urban Myer deckhand for him after LSU puts it to them. Go Tigers!

Miles is outta here if he doesn't beat Alabama this year.

I'm not sure why everyone is so high on Ole Miss. I don't see it. Not enough depth to play 8 SEC games.

You should expect to spend 10-15% of the value of the boat per year.

Maintenance will be higher on the newer Bertram because you are maintaining the boat to a higher standard than the old Bertram.

I'm not sure who owns it, but I know who's selling the boat.
