Default Installing Rigging hose w/jack plate

I have an F150 Yamaha mounted on a jack plate. I am about to install a rigging hose and I'm looking for opinions on what to do with the jack plate cable. There is a small boot on the port side through the bottom of the F150 with a couple of wires going through it. The cable for the jack plate will easily fit through this same boot to allow me to bring the jack plate cable into the rigging hose from within the engine compartment. Provided I allow for the necessary extra cable for the jack plate to travel, are the any other concerns with doing this? What does the factory or dealerships do with the jack plate cable in a similar setup? Anyone have a factory or dealer installed jack plate? How does the cable get into the hull? Also, I don't plan to use the factory hose or grommet because I have a transducer cable and the hydraulic steering going through the gunnel boot as well , are there any issues with just running the hose through the boot in the gunnel without attaching it?

Does trimming outboard affect your set up?

I'm not sure what you mean here. I can use the jack plate to bring the motor up and still trim with no problem.

The installation was performed in my back yard , all cables from jp including hydraulic lines go direct from jp to a boot on strbd side into hull. Installed 1/2008 no issues.
