Hydra-Sports 20 Bay?

I am in the market for a replacement Bay boat. I looked at the Boston Whaler 18' Dauntless. My family really liked the aft fold down seat and I loved the fact when folded down it made a nice aft fishing deck (a must). The quality is there but seems somewhat overpriced at hight 30's to low 40's.

I also thought about the Hydra Sports 20' Bay Bolt which is less expensive than the BW. The Hydra Sport has the nearly perfect layout for me, but I am wondering if the workmanship and quality is there.

Lets hear about the quailty or lack of quality, on the Hydra Sports bay boats. I hold boats for many years, so quality and longevity is #1.

I have the 2300 Baybolt. I have had some minor gelcoat issues which
are being covered under warranty. These are due to some small voids which
permit the gelcoat to crack and chip out . Some of this was in the keel, which has been repaired to my satisfaction. But overall the quality is there. The Baybolts are very
solid hulls. Hardware and hoses are great. Fishbox holds ice. Ride is superior to any
other bay boat I've ever been in, but don't forget your tabs. Seatrial both on a really rough day, say 20-25 mph winds, and there will be no comparison IMHO. Not knocking
BW, great boats. But HS has the bay boat ride honed to perfection. Don't underpower
this heavy hull.
