Default Point Pleasant Canal Boaters... a very STUPID question.

I've been in and out of the canal countless times... and I've often wondered (as has my wife) WHO IS and WHAT'S UP with the guy that always has his Vettes and Rolls Royces and all his other toys on the lawn "displayed"? Who is he?

Curious, and thought someone here might know...

Thanks,
Pete

I have pondered the same question when going by there. Those are some sweet cars he has got up there.

Pete, Asked the same question many time. It does not look like there is much of a driveway or parking space in the front. Although they are older models maybe he doesnt trust them on the street. Or he is just displaying his toys.

A bit of time spent with Google Maps (or Google Earth) and the online tax records site for that county should give the answer. You can find the address (or at least the street name) from the maps and get the rest of the info. from tax records. Of course, if he's a renter, this won't help!

He has lived there for about 10 years--I do not know him. The cars aren't that special.

Pete,
Does he have a boat on display also ?
If not, he is just trying to keep up with
you rich boat owners,or he use to have a boat
and now has cars.
have you ever been to the Mid Atlantic million(s) of dollars fishing
tournament in S NJ in Aug.
Half of it is not catching fish,it is showing off your spotless Viking,Hatteras, bertram, etc.

My son a Charter boat capt in the keys, said I have helped wash many different boats. However, the only time he has ever wiped down outriggers after washing was there at the Mid Atlantic.
that is what the owner wanted. they should call it the MID ATLANTIC BOAT DISPLAY/ tournament.

BTW,there are a lot of nutty people in Brielle, Pt Pleasant.
i know some.

Technically its the 500k although I do think theres additional prize money. You would have to win every individual category to take home the big bucks.

And you don't need a 7 digit sport fisherman to enter

Nah... I'll do it right here... I don't care.

1) Not good... GREAT. Friggin' Brian is awesome! We fished him around Easter last year. He probably wouldn't remember me -- but tell him the smart-ass from NJ that caught a ton of Kings but couldn't get a yellowtail to save his life. If that don't make him remember tell him the guy who couldn't piss to save his life (never been a problem before that day -- had to use the head... totally friggin embarassing!)... he'll know me then. :D
If he STILL doesn't remember me... then tell him to never pass up a floating log again. (we went buy a friggin entire tree that had been out there for a long time -- he hemmed and hawed about staying and fishing around it or not)
The 33TE was a great fish! Your son was a lot of fun to talk to -- you wouldn't think you'd meet somebody as educated as he is and so down to earth. I recommend anyone that wants to fish the keys to him.

2) I think you were there when we got back if I remember... I'd have to look up the dates...

3) Don't know Brielle Bogan or what it is... do you mean the guy with the car? Confused...

4) I got the greases (thanks to the net) and the person doing it is me. :D

Edit: You can also mention that he was pissed off at his mate for not throwing the net properly to get bait. -- they had practiced the day before and Brian got a bit pissed...

It took some more net practicing in Brian's back yard, now big Al is doing fine.Al was NOT leading enough with his left arm..we even took some photos with a 5 frame per sec. camera.

Brian learned to throw the 12'+ nets from Capt Dennis Bogan, Brielle,NJ .
Bogan's Basin fishing Fleet. Neighbor ,Dennis fished in islamorada,Fl for years on the BOGIE.
dennis taught him a lot. dennis now semi retired lives in NC but fills in as Captain at Brielle in the summer. river queen I believe.

If you need to know how to apply KY jelly grease ,then Dennis can show you with a broom handle.. He was in Brielle over the weekend.

see SPORT FISHING magazine AUG,p42.

brian said that tree was in the no fishing sanctuary.
it did not have any Dolphin on it any way.

Default Wakko in canal

Just noticed this week he added a mountain goat and brown bear to his collection on third floor. Sometimes he has a cigarette type boat on display along with the '80's windsurfer, corvette's and crappy old Rolls. The guy just gets a kick out of putting his stuff on display. Sometimes you see him outside, perma tan late 60's grey balding with rat tail.
House looks like a garage or rec. hall.

Don't forget the roid head pirate dude on the other side of the canal. Always some entertainment in that canal!

YES! My wife spied the goat type animal. I saw a guy who was young. African American -- looked like mountain of man. He was standing at the top level admiring all the toys... Dunno if that was him.
