Scout 190 Costa ????

I am looking at a used Scout 19' 5" costa. I have been looking at bay boats but this particular boat seems to be a good deal. What can anyone tell me about this boat. Am I going to get beat to death in the chop? I want a boat that I can fish near shore, inlets, & flats.

I've been looking at them too. They're certainly not bay boats, but I sea trialed one in a little chop, and it was like any other flats boat I've been on, kinda uncomfortable, but not too bad.

I really like the 190, a lot more than some other flats boats of comparable size. It's got some great features, and the fit and finish (like all new Scouts) is some of the best. At this point I think that's the one I'm going to go with when it comes time to buy.

I talked to the seller. He clarified that is not a 190 costa. Actually it is a 2000 millennium edition. He says its a bay hull. Tough to say for sure bu the pictures.
