Default Gearcase Oil Leaking

Gearcase oil leaking on a 50 horse Johnson. There's obviously water in there as it's all milky. It's leaking out on top of the cavitation plate. I'm thinking I need to pull the lower unit and replace the drive shaft seal.

Any opinions before I order the part and pull the LU?

Thanks
Fin
