Nextel / Cell Phone Radar Weather?

I heard tell that Nextel and other Cellular Services can link to a local doppler radar service for instant weather reports. I know that offshore cellular is not reliable but inshore boaters would benefit greatly with this service. My Nextel has weather channel and weather bug, but forcast only, no radar. I would think the color java enabled format would support a radar image. It would be nice to see just how far away those "Afternoon Thunderstorms" really are.
Anyone here know if Nextel or others link to radar sites and who that service might be with? Thanks BiGGrin

weather.com has an add for it on their main page all the time. I have never clicked on it. Let us know if you try it.
