Default Simple Question

With proper attention, how long are four strokes running these days without changing a powerhead or some other big, major, expensive part? I see a sea pro with 1300 hours on a Yammie.

The question may be simple, but the answer is not. It really depends on how its used and how *much* its used and especially how its cared for when its NOT being used. There are engines out there now with 5000-8000hrs on them. Other engines with less than 1000hrs that are a corroded mess.
