Default Firing Order of Volvo

Help!!!

I was woundering if the Merc 305 has a different firing order than the Volvo 305? There are both GM 305s but my Volvo book has the #1 180degs off form the #1 stamped on the Merc cap that I bought.

VOLVO PARTS ARE HARD TO FIND!

Default RE: Firing Order of Volvo

Thank you for the firing order. Do you think the owners manual is wrong? I followed the lines in the picture(they can not be right)....but something is not adding up. All the other tune-up I have ever done I always did one wire and plug at time.....oh no not this one...I have a diagram.

As if roasting my battery when I shorted the block drain to the starter when I winterizing her was not bad enough......Over torquen the starter relay post a couple of weeks ago when I was replacing the roasted battery cable.....now it will not run.

Gotta love my luck!
