Default Salt Free or Salt Away

Anyone ever use a product called salt free or salt away. Does this stuff do any good and is it worth the trouble. Heard about it and if it does what they say it will do maybe it's a good idea using it especially if it would help keeping the risers from blocking up.

They claim it's great but so is Vinegar....
