clamp on rod holder taco

i see that the rod holders have some different pipe applications (tube) and (IPS). i will attach the rod holder onto aluminum tubing. O.D measures 1".

-in the listing i see 7/8" - 1" tube or 3/4" - 1" IPS pipe.
-which size is right for my application?

i have read reviews about the rod holders and some guys order the wrong size because of the way that the rod holder sizes are listed.

anyone have to go through this?

I have a few of the TACO rod holders. They come with specific inserts to fit different OD's of pipe.

I believe mine came with 3 different size inserts.

I'm very happy with the quality and design!

Tubing sizes are measured O.D., and pipe sizes are measured I.D.(meaning that the OD is larger on pipe)

If your mounting location is 1" OD, you shouldn't go wrong if you order them for 1" tube.

By the way- I have several of the taco rod holders & also am very happy w/ the quality & design.
