Mercury Wiring Diagram

Hi y'all.can anyone tell me where to find a wiring diagram for a '98 225 Merc.? My harness has the plug on the motor end but the other end was cut off leaving 12 wires and I don't have a clue as to which goes where

If you have the engine vin number, you can go to mercury parts express and see exploded diagrams. You have to set up an online account (top right corner of page) and choose a local dealer. Once you set up your online account and login, there will be an option to enter your engine VIN number in order to search for parts. This will route you to the correct parts listing with the diagrams including the wiring. I dont think the wires will be color coded though in their diagrams but I could be wrong.
