Default Selling My Boat Without a Broker

I am selling my boat without a broker involved. What is the best way to handle the bill of sale, escrow account (for the deposit), etc. ? Any ideas?

Note that the sale price is about $250k.

BOATUS has a "settlement" service that has worked out very well for me and a few others that I know.

If you're not a member but want to take advantage ot the program, it only costs a few bucks to join.

Go to the BOATUS site and click on the icon. You'll be able to research everything that they do for the seller (and buyer) in order to make an informed decision.

Good luck!

Do you have outright title? Gts a wee bit tricky if you don't.
