Question Anyone been on or looked at the Riviera 43 Express/IPS?

I picked up a brochure for the new Riviera 43 Express at a marina recently and it looks like an interesting boat as a compromise fishing/cruising style boat. It has a nice sized cockpit, mezzanine seating, two staterooms, and IPS power. If you could keep the mezzanine seating AND have enough fishing tackle space it could be pretty sweet.

I was wondering if any in "THT land" has actually been on one or better yet, driven one?

What sort of performance does it get with the IPS 500 power? Are the IPS 600 engines an option?

Now I just need to win the lottery or something to afford a boat like this.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Doug

I was at BMC in Longwood yesterday and the guy told me they just put a customer in a Riviera. I was there looking at the Key West 225.

For a second there I thought you said the customer who bought the Riviera came there to look at a Key West 225.....that would be a helluva upsell.....

I have sea trialled the 4400 Sport Yacht the past September which has the same underwater section to this as fas as I know
we had 5 foot waves and the boat behaved quite well, but dont accept it to be as good a shaft boat with the Volvo Pods
I seatrialled also a Riviera 47000 Sport Yacht in 2007 and this was a very good seaboat this time in about more or less 6 to 7 foot seas
I really like Riviera and if it was for not so much cash I would have bought the 3600 SY which is among my favorites in the 11 metre (35-38feet) size
