My brother just sold his boat with the F 115 and moved up to a boat with a F 225.Amazing motors. Both have been flawless and very quiet so far.

i have a 2003 mercury115 4 stroke. it should not be much different than the 2002 i would think. i have had it for a year now and i have had no trouble at all. very good gas mileage. love the fact that i dont have to add oil with the gas. its like a car engine, i just get a oil change when needed. its on a sea pro 19' c.c. bay boat . top speed is about 45mph which is nomal . i was told the 150 4stk isn't much faster so why pay the extra money . good luck .
