Default Is there anything that will clean mildew stains off vinyl

Is there anything i can use to clean mold or mildew stains off of vinyl?
Last summer i left my bow cushions in the center console for a few days, it rained and water got in there somehow, then when i finally pulled the cushions out they were covered with black mold or mildew.
I scrubbed and cleaned them, but they still have some black spots on them.
Is there something i can use to get them white again, or will i have to buy new cushions?

I give them a light scrubbing with softscrub with bleach and let them sit for 15 minutes or so. try not to let them dry out. rinse and wash with boat soap to remove the residue.

Always worked for me.

I bought quart bottle of bleach-free "Mildew remover" in a boat-supply store (WM, BW, etc.). Forgot the name of the stuff, but I think it is green in color. (down't worry; it doesn't turn the fabric or vinyl green). If you diluted version of "Kitchen/Bath spray cleaner", and don't let it dry on the cusions, that should work too.

Vinegar will remove mold. I'm finding it will clean almost anything and it's dirt cheap! Easy to keep around in a spray bottle either 50/50 mix with water or full-on and mix on the fly.

a vinyl guy told me early on not to use softscrub - I did not listen and ruined a piece after awhile. Tilex works, mineral spirits work but one that most people forget that works very well is THE SUN...let it bake for week in overhead sun and most stuff fades away that other things can't get off....

I like a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Always brightens up my vinyl and removes stubborn stains on the floor too.

Buy a large bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide, wipe on mildew with a sponge or brush. I use it often. Works great on lawn furniture also. Also try Spray 9. Has a chemical that blocks mildew after a few apps.

Use lighter fluid with a soft cloth and then a mild detergent like Ivory soap. FYI...bleach will destroy threads and discolor some vinyls...I learned the hard way.
