To Wax or Not To Wax? (Outboard and Radar Dome)

As I mentioned in earlier posts, I am dedicating this weekend (weather permitting) to waxing my boat. I have a good handle on what I need to do as far as the hull (thanks bestboatcare.com), but was wondering about whether I should protect/wax the following and if so what products should I use:

Yamaha F225 Outboard
Furuno Radar Dome

I have seen several faded radar domes in my travels and would like to prevent mine from fading.

anything with a uv protectant in it will help. The wax wont impede the radar so wax on.

DEFINATELY wax the Yammi. I have a 200 Merc EFI and when she is waxed people think it is new (its 4 years old) it really makes a statement about you and your boat......

Wax it up! Were finally getting some weather the wax will actually dry in. With all this crappy weather up here it takes a week for wax to dry.
