Default Tell us who you've ordered from

With Boaters World going KABOOOOOM, many people will need to turn to other sources. Please post the companies for boating and/or fishing that you have had good luck with.

Please seperate your response to 3 catagories: Internet/Mail order, National Retailer and Local Retailer.

Internet/Mail Order:
www.secosouth.com - best place I have found to order line and or anchor rodes.

www.defender.com - great prices, have things in stock and always ship on time.

Local Supplier

Lockwood Boat Works - South Amboy, NJ. At the marina up the road from mine, they usually have what I want in stock and prices are usually better than the west marine 3 doors away.

By the way - I have no association to any stores except as a consumer.

Internet - Defender and BOE
National - Since Boater's World and West closed or will close their stores I have none
Local - I don't know yet but it's gonna be a pain

Port Supply is the wholesale arm of West Marine. Think you have to have a commercial account with them to order.

Ebay, Ebay and Ebay................best prices, pay confidently with Paypal.......Just as safe and secure as any other site and usually the best prices around. Just ordered a NIB Penn International 975 for 175 including shipping to my door...........Been a member for almost 10 years and bought and sold over a hundred things 90% of which are boating and fishing related.............It is always my first stop.......Oh and by the way, I almost always use the "buy it now" feature. I don't waste time bidding against myself on the often bogus auctions..........

I have done a ton with consumers and Annette is awesome. Everyone has good pricing but the customer service is the key.
