Default Florida Keys house

Where should I stay. This is my first trip to the keys. Will be fishing for dolphine and kings and what ever else eats my bait. I have a 23 ft center console with raymarine plat card. I hope the card gives me some decent spots to fish. I know knowthing about the keys so please tell me where I should stay.

I am very excited about this trip and I want to stay in the best area.

upper keys lower keys? I know nothing (please help)

JJ

But a hot spot chart when you get there. The plat card has a few wrecks, but it does not have much more to help you fish.

Fishing is good all over. I think upper keys gets a lot more weekend fishing pressure than the middle/lower keys. Just my opinion.

Did you get the free fishi'n chip with that plat card? It will help you find good bottom for fishing.

For your first trip, you really cant go wrong with Key Largo. If you get something bayside, like on Blackwater Sound, you can boat even if the water is rough out of the east and its a quick trip through the cut and Pennekamp Park. There are snorkeling oppurtunities everywhere and I highly recommend hitting some of the public spots like Dry Rocks.
We are going down for week at the end of April or beginning of May. Looking for a place right now. We often stay at the Marriot which is a little pricey but they have their own marina where you can dock for free if you are staying there. Its a basin right at the hotel. The free dockage offsets the price and the hotel is very nice. More of a resort atmosphere.
Shoot me a PM if you want more info and I will call you.
I have marked all the public spots on my Raymarine Software and a couple little holes I have found. If I can figure out how to download them to a file with Raytech Planner I can email you them and then you can just upload it into your machine. WHen are you going?

Islamarada Rent a house in Venetian Shores. All kind's of good fishing and cool place's to go by boat. Make sure you stop by Morada Bay for a margarita!

Good, that will help, but as I said above, get the hot spot chart.

Default 2nd week of june

I was looking at the second week of June... Hoping to spend around 1300 for the week. It will be me and another coulpe with three young girls... two being two and one being 5 months old at the time of the trip...
Please send me some pictures if you are still interested.

please don't let my offer come off as an insult. I realize your house is worth much more than the amount I am looking to spend.

Thanks JJ

SEA-N-DOUBLE, send me the info on your house as well. We usually stay in Marathon but the wifey wants to stay further north next time. No trip in the works, but I hate not having leads on nice places when the time comes.

Hello. I just saw your post asking for suggestions on where to stay in the Florida Keys. I own and rent a townhouse with a 30 foot boat slip at MM 88.5 (Islamorada) in Futura Yacht Club. Please visit www.brockhausrentals.com for photos, rates and openings. Also, take a look at www.VRBO.com and search under FL Keys for other rental ideas. Please let me know if you have any questions. Best, Rob
