Awesome looking boat and numbers but why would they put gen1 motors on a new hull they are trying to promote?

She is beautiful

To get the boat show sale price down at the show. I think they were offering it at 118K at the show. Which was priced extremely well compared to the other 29' boats at the show. It looks like a sweet boat and I am sure they will be getting quite a few orders considering the value.

Thats good #'s with the 275's. She should fly with 350's.

Real nice and priced well, but it looks small. Low gunnels in the rear and that guy looks huge in the boat.

2MPG @ 40mph is Sick!

GENII 300's should get at least 2.2mpg light.

Excellent boat! Best bang for the buck!

He is no small man, the gunnels do look low which makes it more convienent to pull a fish over the side

That's a nice looking boat. That's a great price for a brand new rig. Congrats.

FWIW - your performance numbers are virtually identical to the numbers I get on my Fountain 31 with smaller 225 Optis. Take the rpm's and divide it by 100 and you have the speed you are running. I don't know any other manufacturer that can beat the combination of speed and efficiency of these boats.

Nice!!!

Same question, why the Gen1 motors? I think a set of 350 SCi's would be cool.

Why would anyone spend 118k on that boat when you can get a 25ft whaler for the same price?

Keep in mind that this is coming from a guy who wet slips his boat but..................The water line in the rear looks weird......I would have to bottom paint half way up the sides of the boat???? Do all Yellowfin owners keep their boats on trailers and lifts?

i have to second the question to the whaler comment. i would take a about 90% of boats out there before a whaler. Yellowfin is in a class by themselves...freakin awesome boat. i would love to see this boat and 25-29..heck and 33 whaler in 4footers. Yellowfin all the way
