fuel #'s yamaha 150 2 stroke (twin) vs. 300 hpdi vs. Suzuki 300 4strk

Does anyone know how much difference at cruise there would be between these motors? Boat is 233 Formula. Thanks in advance.

I believe the 300 Suzi will be a great moror for you. Top speed over 50 and I bet you would see 3mpg cruise. No way you would get that kind of MPG with twin 150's although you may pick up 2 mph at top end and have get home confidence but who needs that nowadays with 4 strokes?

There was a guy on this board with a 300 suzi on his bluewater 23 or 25 I think. He is happy and his speed and fuel numbers can't be touched by any other manufacture's single or twin setup.

I have a 25 ft Parker cc mod v with a df300 and get these same #'s.

I have a 23 Regulator w/ 300HPDI.... average fuel burn is about 2MPG and max speed is 45mph (burning about 1.6 mpg)
