Does anyone have any information positive or negative about Romarine boats in Bristol RI,,

The price is right on them. They're fairly light with 18 degrees deadrise but they run with moderate power and get to and from where you want to go. They remind me of maritime skiff before they got expensive.

They've been around awhile. Many commercial quohaggers in Narragansett Bay use them, for whatever that's worth. I have heard they pound. Obviously a "function over form" type of boat.

One of the small passenger vessels I run in Boston is an 80's vintage Romarine. The thing is a TANK. This one has a single diesel with a max speed of about 8 knots and carries 30 passengers.
