Default Fish box hatch covers

Does anyone have a source for fish box hatch covers that I can stand on and take some abuse? Right now any material is an option. The lids I have now are 13" x 59". I can go a little larger but cannot find anything that large on the net....Thanks.

I am looking for something like this. Watertight and it can be stood on. I just cant find any at the size I need. I can rework the deck to get a similar size to fit.

Wow! 5' long. That is a great fish box but I can see why there is a problem. I had a similar problem years ago and because of lack of funds I ended up making a cover with dimensional lumber just to keep from going through it. (much smaller hatch) I think that you will need to upgrade to an aluminum hatch. It will take the beating but you will pay for it. Not cheap. When I was looking years ago it seemed that you had to check a number of companies for differing sizes. If you cannot find what you want with the usual suspects, look at the commercial fishing sites. They tend to have bigger hatches like you need. This info is not current but may be helpful. Good luck, granpa

Starboard is not what I want. I really want to seal the fish boxes to keep water out. The Mako design does not allow this. I thought getting new covers like the one above would work. Still looking for a source. Aluminum would be great but pricy and I cant find a source for them either.

Starboard would work..just hinge `em, add some gaskets and slam latches. Good luck with it!

Give these guys a call. They are a great resource and will discuss solutions with you. Sorry if I am not allowed to post them. No affiliations, just good service in the past.
