Boat Project

I am interested in finding a 35 - 40' sport fishing boat. I am looking for an older model that I can repair myself, condition of motor and interior not important. I do want the hull to be structually sound and very reasonably priced. I am in South Carolina and distance would not be an issue if the you have what I'm looking for. Any advice from someone who has done a project like this before would be welcome. If someone has information on other ways to find what I'm looking for please advise.
