The Groco works fine for my Cummins 5.9 QSB. I rigged up a tub and hose arrangement that holds 5 gals (or more if needed) of pink, plug the hose into the adaptor, start the motor, wait till the tub is close to empty, shut the motor off, check for pink coming out the exhaust. No brainer, and has worked for 2 winters now... Highly reciommend it....

commok,
Do you need that much pink? I'm about to do my Yanmars in a few days, wondering how much I will need. I assumed about 3 gallons per motor.... ??

Bird- mine will suck about 5 gallons ea before I see good color out the exhaust. Recognize that you are loosing some going out the shaft seal as well.

Just found this, Ive been using a tub similar to commoks for years but on IOs and outboards using the muffs. Birdman for the price of the antifreeze its worth using as much as you need for a 350 IO I pull the the thermostat, drain the engine then I run 6 gallons thru per engine. My tub has the thru hull coming out the bottom and I throw it up on the swim platform. When the tub is almost empty I shut down the engine
