Default a & j marine welding in miami.......

Anyone have any experience with these people? I am considering letting them do the t-top on my seavee. Can anyone recommend a good fabricator in Miami. This would allow me to have the boat delivered from the factory to the welder and save me a trip to Pensacola where I was going to have it done. Thanks Paul

Not familiar with them and they may be very good. One name I am familiar with is Birdsall Marine, they are top notch. They are in Palm Beach. Whether or not they travel to Miami I don't know.

I thought Birdsall built Seavee's tops but I was wrong. Don't know who's they are but they weren't much to look at. Hopefully I will get some feedback on someone in Miami. thanks

I HIGHLY recommend Bluewater Towers in Boynton Beach, hour and a half N. of Miami. They do all of Intrepids work, don't let that scare you, they are very reasonbly priced for a quality top. They also do alot of Contenders from the two local dealers(boatcenter's). Most of the manufacturers will take the boat to them for you. Birdsall in WPB also does very good work. Bottomline, you get what you pay for and believe me, it is very easy to crack a top that was not designed properly. There are alot of small outfits in Miami that make alot of claims and charge half of the people above, but that won't help you much considering you're not local. Bluewater and Birdsall in that order.

if you want state of art, highest quality, in miami area......Fred Herman, 305-667-0135, fax 305-665-9560.

only issue is your boat might sit around on their lot for many weeks before anyone touches it, as they are small outfit w/ hardcore clientele that don't care about the wait or price.

I also have a Bluewater T-top, and I'm very happy with it.
Here's their #. 561-369-0787.
Yes, they deliver to boat builders, at least to mine, 2 blocks away from SeaVee.
Best of luck, and relax a bit, would ya?
Buying a boat should be fun.
It sounds like you're putting yourself through hell.

Thanks for the info, I found Bluewater and gave them a call. Their tops are pricing out about 30% higher than anyone else I have talked to. I am sure they are top notch quality but I will probably stick with one of the guys in Pensacola. I have seen their work and it is nice enough. I want a functional t-top, not a monument to aluminum! Thanks Paul
